Linda Tafoya Oyenque Native American Santa Clara Pottery Hummingbird Vase

Linda Tafoya is the granddaughter of Margaret Tafoya and known for her very intricately detailed pieces.  Her older pieces are signed Linda Tafoya Oyenque when she lived on the San Juan Pueblo and recent pieces are signed Linda Tafoya Sanchez. She is an award winning potter and has been published on the cover of the New Mexico magazine in 2006.  Her pieces portray her signature trademarks using mica in the matte finish of her pieces with deep melon cuts. This large piece features two hummingbirds and the mica in the pottery adds a slight shimmer when held up to the light.  Dimensions:  8" wide x 6.5" tall Condition:  Excellent condition, no damage noted
