Murano Glass Birds of Paradise in a soft moss green flecked with gold. These beautiful birds have black hummingbird style beaks and eyes with clear wings and sit on clear glass pedestals. The delicate tails on these pieces intricately curl at the tips. These pieces are hand blown using the aventurine technique. The aventurine technique, commonly used in making Murano glass, is done by melting flecks of metal into the hot molten glass. The metal pieces give a flecked metallic appearance to the finished glass sculpture. Original labels still intact on both pieces. Dimensions: 14" tall and 13.5" tall x 6.5" x 5" Condition: Excellent condition, no chips cracks or damage noted. Every hand blown bird is unique and no two pieces are made the same.
