Set of 2 Murano Glass Cockatoo Parrots. These birds have a clear crest and a deep purple body that turns into a creamy white toward the tail. Covered in metallic gold flecks, done with what is known as the aventurine technique. The glass blower melts flecks of metal into hot molten glass giving a flecked metallic appearance to the finished sculpture. Dimensions: 13" tall x 4" wide x 4.5" 12" tall x 4" wide x 4.5" Condition: Excellent condition. Murano label intact on both pieces. Every piece is unique. The striations or lines that can be seen are variations in the glass underneath a thick layer of clear glass.
