Home Decorating Ideas for Spring & Easter

Find our spectacular seasonal collection. Video Translation: Hi, Jennifer here with City Farmhouse Antiques. I am here with some great decorating ideas for Easter and I absolutely love these top hat rabbits. They are in a black and white check design and are super popular. We have had customers waiting for these and we have finally got more in stock and they are ready to ship out. They are just adorable. They come with a pot insert on the top. They don't come with the flowers. You have to do your own decorating. These are real touch tulips that I chose to put inside mine. They feel real. They look real. I just love tulips. They are one of my favorite flowers, but they don't last very long. I have thought about putting these real touch flowers up on the website to sell. Tell me what you think and if we should start selling these real touch flowers. This is another real touch tulip. Look at the color. They are just gorgeous. These are the long tulips. They would be Darwin tulips probably. These have an insert where you can pop a different plant in here. A pot of fresh daffodils, tulips, or anything you like. These would make a beautiful table display for Easter. This is one piece in this collection of rabbits. If you are one of those customers that ordered the top hat rabbit last year, you may want one of these others to go with your set this year. Let me put another up here to show you. We have this adorable little bunny right here with his clock. He is part of this same style in the same set of black and white rabbits. I would use him as a centerpiece too. Maybe buy the top hat rabbit as a table centerpiece and then put him over on the table where you have the food and where you are serving or entertaining. I think he would be adorable with a little teacup full of colorful jelly beans or with a little flower in there. If you have grandkids I think they would get a real kick out of any of these bunnies. This little guy, well I say little, but this is the tallest one in the collection. He is about 2 feet tall. This is the teacup rabbit. Look how cute he is. I put these faux floral balls. You could get some of the spring green moss covered balls or you could fill them with jelly beans or candy to give a pop of color. They don't come with these balls, but you can decorate them however you like. I think this set of rabbits is adorable with this new table runner we just got in. The table runner is much longer than this, but I have it folded over just because this is a tiny table. Look how cute these rabbits are. They have a little jute tail with a needle point type design in the silhouette of a rabbit. This design is on both ends of the runner. The black and white checker on the table runner really adds contrast to any other colors in the spring display and makes the entire tablescape pop. Isn't that cute? There is a set of three rabbits in all different styles that are super cute. The other thing that people don't always think of when decorating is to go through some of your antiques or pieces that have been handed down to use to decorate the table. This is a beautiful antique glass rose bowl. Look at how these antique pieces can really make your table pop. Especially when you put them with fresh flowers of different colors. The spring colors are always so pretty.  You can use depression glass or old porcelain plates with a new table runner for contrast. This is a piece of carnival glass. You can see the beautiful spring green in this piece of antique glass and see how cute it is up against the table. Think of mixing pieces of depression glass in pinks, yellows, etc. It's fun, and mixing and matching different antique pieces gives that cottage look. I am going to show you a few more bunnies we got in. Again, I'm doing this one handed. Look at the color on those tulips, I just love them. This little guy was the bunny of the year. This is our Velveteen rabbit. Here is a bird that sits up on his shoulder. He has a jacket made out of pink velvet. He would make for a cute tabletop display too. You can really see how that black and white check table runner really goes with everything. Isn't he cute? He is a tall bunny too. He is probably a good 18 inches or taller. This is another cute little piece I wanted to show you. This pillow has a matching table runner. This has a different look completely if you are not into the black and white. This happens to go with this little guy. This is a cute sisal grass rabbit with a backpack full of carrots. The grandkids would also love this little guy. Here you can see the back of him. He is just as cute from the back as he is from the front. He is adorable with this little pillow and table runner with the carrots which I had not even thought of. So, these are a few cute decorating ideas for Spring and Easter. Most of these pieces can be used throughout the entire season. Many people are into bunnies and these are just some fun little decorating ideas. Message us which bunny is your favorite. Do you prefer the black and white or the carrots?
